Hello, we are Vic and Penny Boyer.
Vic and Penny Boyer were blessed in marriage in 1999 and together they operate Little Creek Ranch in Marshall, Illinois. Their farm is a horse and cattle operation, consisting of approximately fifty Red Angus females bred to Akaushi bulls in their efforts to produce the highest quality meat.
On the horse side, Vic and Penny strive to maintain a breeding program founded on high caliber mares bred to only the most outstanding cutting and cow horse stallions in the industry. All of their mares have been to the shown pen and acquired earnings and/or points. The resulting foals are started here at Little Creek Ranch and then sold or shown in NRCHA, NCHA, or AQHA events.
In 2022, Vic and Penny started to level up their breeding game by purchasing more contracts to bigger stallions, such as Stevie Rey Von and Once In A Blu Boon. They both shared a vision and a dream to grow their performance horse business and stamp the cutting and cow horse industry with their brand. In 2024, they added Sugar Rey Babe to their breeding program, a 2016 mare by Kit Kat Sugar out of a very successful Dual Smart Rey mare.
In 2026, Boyer Performance Horses will hopefully foal out a total of nine recipient mares, who are carrying embryo crosses such as Scooter Kat x Smart Ginnin (WR This Cats Smart), CR Gotcha Covered x Sugar Rey Babe, and Once In A Blu Boon x Sugar Rey Babe.
